Hi! The Collab Booth is me, Jenn Booth. I have been a writer, proposal strategist, and marketing communications professional for over 25 years. I have worked in many different industries, but AEC has stolen my heart. I have managed proposals for small and large firms, including national environmental and geotechnical engineering firm Haley & Aldrich and regional firms The LiRo Group and S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc. I have been a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) for more than 15 years, serving as President for the Northern New England chapter in 2013-2014 and on the Board of Directors for many years. I earned the highly regarded Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification from SMPS in 2013, and I received the Foundation level certification from the Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) in 2017. I live in New Hampshire with my husband of 18 years, Matt, and we have one almost-teenage son and two rescue dogs, Buca and Enzo.
Some other facts about me
I love music and sing constantly. Pitbulls and Highland cows make me squeal. My son loves to race dirt bikes in the woods of New England, and we travel a lot to cheer him on. I am insatiably curious, and I spend a lot of my time listening to podcasts, reading books and magazines, making art, and thinking about how I can hack my life to make things easier. Yes, I am serious.
