Who is The Collab Booth?
The Collab Booth is me, Jennifer Booth. With more than 12 years of experience as a proposal manager for regional and national engineering firms, I specialize in proposal writing, proposal management, and marketing communications that help professional services firms win more work. By asking the right questions, understanding your business, and learning about your clients' wants, needs and concerns, I create engaging proposals and deliverables that foster connection and trust -- two essential elements of strong client relationships.
Additionally, my marketing skills and experience working with non-profit organizations and associations give me insight into engagement strategies and messaging that drive revenue and grow membership.
Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Journalism from Susquehanna University and started my career on the web, creating HTML emails for one of the world's largest booksellers. I held public relations positions with a non-profit organization and a famous floral retailer before I joined the AEC world. I have provided marketing and proposal support for several engineering firms, and I opened The Collab Booth in 2026.
Awards and Other Info
I am a joiner, and I love to help organizations I feel passionate about. I joined SMPS and the Northern New England chapter in 2010, after I moved to New Hampshire. I volunteered to be secretary of the chapter in 2011 and was recognized for my leadership skills at the 2012 year-end event. I served as chapter president from 2013-14, and I obtained my CPSM in 2013. I received my Foundation level certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) in 2017. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Granite State Trail Riders, an off-road motorcycle club in New Hampshire formed in 2026.
